Rec'd call on my cell phone. Have been ignoring the 1X daily calls. Is for some medical compensation that has nothing to do with me or my health.
I have received calls from this number once a week. No message. I will not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, especially after reading the preovious posts. This site really helps. Poor saps on the other end of the phone. Get a life!
I have received as many as 30 calls in one hour on numerous days. I never answer. Love the calls in the wee hours of the morning...not.
I got several calls about 30 minutes apart so I picked up and he said he was from my local benefits office and something about my 14,000 or 41,000 dollar benefit. I kept asking him what benefit and he would just keep on rattling. Finally when I raised my voice saying I had not received any benefit and asked what was he talking about, he screamed..."your social security benefits"! and then hung up. I have had it with this daily bombardment of phone calls from marketers and scammers. Is there no protection for the consumer? Obviously the so called, "No Call List" is a big joke. Apparently that is the list the scammers love best!
I have been receiving phone calls daily, and today twice from 561-952-2080. They never leave messages. Today I spoke twice with a woman and then a man, both with accents that were very hard to understand. They say they are a medical compensation company and started asking questions about any surgeries I had had. I did not provide any information. I asked both times for them to stop contacting me, but obviously that didn't work.
Yesterday, I got calls from this number in 15 minute intervals. IAt first, I picked up but there was no one at the other end. I finally ended up by turning off my phone and answering machine. So I called the number but got a busy signal. My internet provider can do nothing for me. Since there seems to be no resolution, I guess I'll just have to wait this one out.
Just got a call also too, only I got the ability to stop it, quick. They've picked the wrong number. Maybe they should check who they call before actually calling. Give me 48 hours folks.
