It is a third party auto caller for a credit card company called Juniper. Been getting calls from various numbers. I just ignore it and block the number
This is *EXACTLY* my problem. My blocker is all filled up & demanding I clear to add new numbers. Again! Anyone know if there's a blocker that lets you block unlimited numbers? Because this is like whack-a-mole. Block one and ten take their place!
A recorded, female voice claiming this was an important notice to supposedly lower my interest rate on my credit card. Press 1 to lower my interest rate or press 3 to discontinue my credit card.
I receive these calls on a weekly basis and they irritate me to no end. I immediately end the call as soon as I hear the robotic voice ask me about lowering my interest rate. Now they are warning me this is the last offer I will receive if I don't do it now. As if I believe that! I would like to ask all of you who read my post to think about this possibility and the reason these annoying calls never end. Who is benefiting the most from all this? Who do we all know that rakes in millions of dollars from us and the scammers both by using "their" company? The phone company of course! Why would the phone company want to shut them down when they make a fortune allowing them to bug us? With technology we have today I'm sure there's someone who could end this harassment forever. If it can be done then why isn't someone doing it...NOW! Again, I ask, who stands to lose money if they're shut down? This is just my mind pondering the reasons for some things like this to continue. I'm unsure of the cost involved but isn't there a fee for blocking numbers? If there is a fee, especially in the case of some one here who wrote they have blocked 250 numbers. Now, what can we do about it if that's true? I surely am not the one with answers. Then again, it's just a conspiracy theory of mine.
I love it! OMG! I've always wanted to be an actress and now I have the opportunity! I hope a lot of people read your letter and have fun with it. If we can't get rid of these calls then I think we should all brush up on some good old acting skills and turn this into a win for us.
Read my theory that I wrote today April 12, 2016 about these calls Thanks!
You are a genius! I've got to remember your comeback also another person who posted he talks and talks to them plus gives them large amounts of money he owes, getting divorced, lost his job and so on. They finally hang up on him. Yes, let's have some fun with this crap, at least we'll feel we're getting even.
Love your comeback! Right on!
Same as others. Robo call and left voice mail, "...eligibility about to expire, final notice..." The first part sounds cut off and starts with the word "eligibility". Seems like a scam. I've blocked the number.
It's the same old "lower your interest rates" scam. It appears to be coming from a USA boiler room, not India or Pakistan. The agent said it was the "account qualification program" and their website was "accountqualification.org." Then he hung up. That website doesn't exist.
