don't get scam I got the same, but the name they used was Jessie, I checked with ebay and the car that they said that were selling was in Jefferson city, Mo, when reality this car was listed with ebay in Florida, if you get this e-mail or a listing at craiglist ask for vin number and check it. and also checked the phone number. The car is at the shipping co. in Jefferson City,Mo sealed and ready to ship it,as I got a new job and moved here to start over.I've signed up with eBay so the payment will be submitted via their services. I'm very busy with my job, so I can't meet you in person,reason for why I chose to sell my car online.If you want to continue,I will need your name&address. After I receive your info, I'll forward it to eBay and they will send us both invoices. eBay will instruct you on how to make a refundable payment. They hold the funds until the car is delivered to buyer, inspected and until he confirms that has received the car in it's described condition. You will have 5 days to decide if you want to keep it, and if eBay should release the money to me or not. If for any reason you won't like the car (I don't see that happening) eBay will refund you and I will instruct the shipping co. to store the car until I find a new buyer. It's not necessary to ship the car back. If you want to buy it,please send me your info so we can proceed.

I was almost scammed like this too. Said she was selling a 2010 Polaris Sportsman 850 for just $2400 after her 'divorce.' I even called and talked to her. Thankfully I copy and pasted the email into google and this is what came up. I hope she gets caught.

Since last fall these scam artists have ripped innocent people off by offering a range of vehicles that are usually 2004-2005 frequently high end SUVs at 1/3 of Edmunds True Market Value. They are located in Jefferson City, MO, place the same ad in dozens of papers across the US. I actually looked up the last VIN and the car was totaled 2 years ago. They scam is a Paypal scam - they tell you 3 or 5 days to stop payment if don't like the vehicle - wrong! As soon as you authorize paypal your money is gone! I called the phone number very nice woman anwered the phone as soon as I told he car was in accident and totaled hung up on me. Do not ever give them your name and address. Also the email that you initially contact is not the email that responds to you. well this "giselle gavin" go me and my family as well. she was really convincing because she has an accomplice working at PAYPAL. they got us really good. dont fall for this crap. wish i would of investigated.wish i could do something to stop all this scamming. DO NOT TRUST THIS CHICK.
