I'm very busy with my job, so I can't meet you in person, reason for why I chose to sell my car online. If you want to continue,I will need your name&address. After I receive your info, I'll forward it to PayPal and they will send us both invoices. PayPal will instruct you on how to make a refundable payment. They hold the funds until the car is delivered to buyer, inspected and until he confirms that has received the car in it's described condition. You will have 5 days to decide if you want to keep it, and if PayPal should release the money to me or not. If for any reason you won't like the car (I don't see that happening) PayPal will refund you and I will instruct the shipping co. to store the car until I find a new buyer. It's not necessary to ship the car back. If you want to buy it,please send me your info so we can proceed.
We received the same story about a 2005 Honda Odyssey. The red flag came up when we noticed one ad on Craigslist for this vehicle with the story that they were moving out of the country and needed to sell the vehicle ASAP. Another ad stated that they received the van for a graduation gift and didn't like it. They wanted to pick out their own vehicle. And was trying to sell ASAP. However, when we contacted them by email they responded with a new story about the divorce. They used two different contacts...teresa.carrillo@msn.com & john.stuart@msn.com. When they responded to us they used teresa.carrillo@comcast.net. I have noticed that one of the ads on CL has already been deleted and after reading this I am going to make sure I put a flag on the other ad. I only hope that no one falls for their scams!
Teresa is the name she used for my family and a word of advise for her get a hobby and a life would be a good too
OMG!!!!!I was so stoked until I started receiving the "original" email that she sent me 5 additional times. She went as far as sending pics, features, VIN #.....Teresa. Craigslist says that she is a graduate and got it as a graduation gift and she would rather pick out her own vehicle. Then Terressa emails me fromo a comcast email address and says she got it in her divorce settlement and that it is packed and ready to ship from Jefferson City, MO and she pays the shipping to and from. OMG, what a B! I am pissed. I have until the end of the week to buy a car and I am a single mother of three little ones. This pisses me off so freaking bad. I think Im going to call the local paper and 8 on your side!!!!Thanks for all of your posts!
Forgot....mine was a 2004 Chevy Tahoe fully loaded with DVD, rims, the whole 9....with 61,000 miles what a uuuuggggghhhhhh. Im PISSED!!!!!

Same scammers, same emails, same phone # (573-298-4807). Location is Knoxville TN and the current name they're using here is Giselle Gavin. She's selling a 2005 Cadillac XLR and possibly a Cadillac CTS. The phone # used in the newspaper ad is a local mortgage company's FAX #.
Same email here. So glad I googled the number. This was a 2006 Honda Odyssey, 48K miles, $4400 advertised in the Knoxville, TN and the return email came from an Eve Richards. I was skeptical to begin with because I kept thinking "This seems too good to be true. And you know what they say about that..." I can't fathom the mentality of people who spend their time trying to swindle people out of their hard-earned (& in my case very limited) money.
