First received a call thru On-Star with the number 586-231-3722 while driving. When I answered, they hung up. 30 mnutes later a call on my cell phone with a message stating if you don't want to receive any more calls press 1. This is very strange because I've never given my car phone number to anyone. I don't even know the number by heart!!! It's probably some lazy telemarketer that thinks he slick. Probably being paid for how many calls he makes. So, he just makes the call and then hangs up. I'll let you know if any new developments come up.
they are now calling my Work phone in Texas, what a waste of time, I'll bet these people are paid by the number of calls they do, not in the number of sales they make.
You do realize that this site only for making your issue public and to warn others. Complaining to the callers here will not have any effect at all. Firstly, they don't read them. 2nd, these sites have no power over them, so it has zero effect.You need to use government sponsored sources for to actually change things.
They don't "get" your number in the way you think.They're just calling tons of people from an active phone number database. Doesn't matter if you haven't given it out or if it's marked "private". Your number will be in a master list, with everyone else. It's simply a matter if they hit your number from a massive database. Luck of the draw. Only 2 defenses are to ignore it and report it to proper government outlets.
Don't EVER call back. Does no good. All it does it tell them it is a live number; that's why they keep calling.
Don't know who the company is; only that they continually call my cell phone and don't leave a message. I understand that it's a company from Michigan. It's quite disruptive in nature; especially since they call midday when I am working.If you are reading these posts, please stop calling!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
