I wholly endorse Digitone. I have two of them. They only hold 80 numbers so when the first one filled up I added a second one. Double click the Block button and they are blocked forever. I have no affiliation with Digitone except to be a satisfied customer. I got mine from Amazon.
I'm on the gov. "Do Not Call" list...that's another gov.. ha ha...it's a piece of "!@#$%^&*(", as we all know, I bought a Call Blocker, & it works good, but it gets its power from the phone line, so a blocked number rings once, & then it stops it..but its still good...at least it gives me some satisifaction, it holds 1200 calls..
Hello, thought I could help, as I am very familiar with telephone marketing. if you are getting any calls you don't wish to have and want to stop the calls from occurring, this is what I suggest you do. inform the phone rep that,-You do not want these calls to continue-That there not permissible-MOST IMPORTANTLY, SAY ADD ME TO THE "DO NOT CALL LIST".When people ask to be removed from the call list, they might agree, or not, and in some cases just be rude. The simple fact is, there is no call list to be removed from, but there is a list for numbers not to call. There is also a national number you can call to be added to a do not call list. unfortunately, I do not have this number currently. Although, I do hope the information I could give will help you and anyone else who might learn of it.
these calls started a few days ago noticed it's mostly on Sunday @9:00 are you sure it's big brother calling and not some scam.
As a heads-up to people, charities, like political organizations, are exempt from the DNC list. Even if you are registered, they can legally call you.
My phone service enables me to block a dozen or more numbers. So along with my caller ID I made a list of unwanted callers and blocked the most frequent. (Quest phone plus service)The plus option doesn't cost too much extra and there are other options such as unlisting my number or even dropping the landline and using only a cell. The cell does get a few unwanted calls but far less than if you have a listed number.
