Got a call from 608-371-6666 this afternoon, caller ID said Janesville WI. Caller said he was working with someone I've never heard of and that he was calling "to see if you're selling you property for the right price." I told him I have no properties for sale at this time, and he said, "Oh, OK," and hung up.

Saw this number and stupidly I answered.Guy said "Hello, there! This is your Dallas Symphony calling!"I told him that it was not MY Dallas Symphony, because MY Dallas Symphony would have proper caller ID, proper area code, and would call me by name.I also asked whether it was a sales call, because if so, he was interrupting my business day.I guess I sounded really annoyed, because he could only reply, "I think I'll excuse myself."I said goodbye and hung up.

Same here, "My other number was 3154463403. Both came in back-to-back. 608 number was second."

If we didn't do this, the call would get caught in an endless loop.Here's an example. Let's say that Shady Charity, Inc is making some calls to ask for donations. Their phone number is 800-555-0100 and, of course, it's blacklisted. When they call, they'll hear the message asking them to type in a random number but, since they have live people making the calls, they're able to get through.You'll first get a call from 800-555-0100 and then it will stop after one ring (because we answered it). After a slight delay (while the worker types the random number) you'll get another call (it'll be the same Shady Charity worker) but this time, the Caller ID will show as 608-371-6666.We've heard reports that sometimes the Caller ID Name says "MAINE MED CTR". This is incorrect and we're working with our carrier to fix this.

Just got a call from 608 371 6666... I am on NOMOROB....identified himself as Kyle and was representing Excellus/Blue Cross.. wanted to send a nurse to my home for annual exam... I am undergoing treatment for recently diagnosed cancer and am TRYING to rest as much as possible. How can this # represent so many different people?Call came from Janesville WI. ?????????????? So tired of all these annoying calls. DNC list is a joke, don't use it !

Surveys are not subject to Do Not Call, as long as they're just surveys and don't follow up the call with a sales pitch.

I called this number (608-371-6666) back and the recording said, "Hello! Thank you for calling the Nomorobo report line". WTF??!! I have Nomorobo but why is THEIR number calling me???!!!

I got a call from 608-371-6666 at 2:30pm EST followed by a call from 855-554-3666 (intercepted by NOMOROBO), immediately followed by another call from 608-371-6666 at 2:31pm. WHY WOULD YOUR FOLLOW UP SERVICE BE CONTACTING PEOPLE WITH NO CONNECTION TO YOU?????? Time to call the Wisconsin Attorney Generals office- you reek of scam
