I got a voicemail from this number today, just after Nomorobo blocked some (legitimate) calls. As others have said, usually it's someone punching in the right thing on a Nomorobo intercept, and it shows as the Nomorobo number rather than the true originating number. Interestingly, it doesn't look like my home phone ever rang with the Nomorobo number, it may have gone straight to voicemail somehow.Of course, from what others have posted, it looks like scammers are wise to this and are now spoofing it. Or they're actually on the line when the scam call is bounced to Nomorobo, and sometimes managed to enter the "prove you're a human" code and leave a message.

Thank you for all of you who took the time to post info on this number.Our cable company usually picks these numbers off so all we hear is one ring. I was a bit puzzled as to how this one got through.Well, after reading the above posts, I looked in our cable call record and I see two numbers called at the same time. One was this number (with who it was listed as the number) and 316-267-5400 ( listed as unassigned number).Tricky jerks. No message left. I hope it's especially hot I. The spot on hell where these people are headed.

Family member uses cell phone to call me from New Orleans, maybe 4 times a year...Since I hve had nomorobo, * 3 days) he has been trying to reach me, and call does not go through. Would Nonorobo block a call from a number that calls me infrequently?

THIS is NOMOROBOs Number. That's why these calls are NOT getting blocked. They have found a way to sneak past NMRB by piggy-backing their calls to you. It overloads the system and the TELEMARKETER gets through. I'm certain that this will be fixed in the near future. Personally, I received 9 calls in less than two hours from the same TELEMARKETER. 2017 is not starting off on a decent note.

I got a call that was blocked by Nomorobo [1 ring], followed immediately by a call from 1-608-371-6666, which I found out is Nomorobos' reporting number to call. I answered the phone and was informed there was a warrant out for my arrest, authorities were on the way to pick me up, must call this other number to avoid being arrested, etc. I said "Holy crap, thanks for the warning, I'm outta here!" and hung up. Idiots.

This is the caller ID that NoMoRobo uses when a number detected as being a robo caller responds correctly to their challenge. It could be some random telemarketer using live callers, or a false positive. You probably don't want to block it, just let it go to voicemail.
