illegal telemarketer - very poor English and very strong accent

This is a number spoof pretending to be the NoMoRobo report line. You can call or text this number to report calls that were not stopped. An easy fix is to block this number on your incoming (Vonage, etc.) voice calls but still keep it in your phone contacts to report new numbers.In my case AMERIMERCHANT was the original call blocked 212-779-2100

I'm not too sure about that Mike-in-MD ---- The man stated he was from the State of Oregon; also there are no sleep issues at my place. Maybe that's what they told you?

three calls in a row with different numbers. of course it is the same people they just change the number. it either says unknown, California or WI. We have to stop these people. it is noon and I have already had more than a dozen robo calls.

MAKE SURE TO REPORT TO THE FCC. Your call blocking, hangups, & putting the phone down while they spiel - none of that does a thing. An FCC report does.

When you answer try this:"This is a CIA number used only for outgoing calls. If you continue to call, I'll have you arrested."

What is the point of nomorobo if they let these calls through? Spam is spam whether its a live person or not.

I had the same experience others reported with this number - except the first number & ID to appear was 516-746-6460 Eastern Numismatic then immediately switched over to 608-371-6666 and rang until VM picked up. Caller left no message. I also have NOMOROBO (which I love!) though it seems like these vermin might have figured out how to fool it.

These clowns are all alike, no matter what Caller ID they use to mislead people. At least three of their numbers have similar Caller IDs: 608-371-6666 DIR ASST PA, 804-555-0167 DIR ASST VA, and 539-555-0144 DIR ASST OK. Sure, right, yeah. Get these numbers blocked if you haven't already; they already are blocked by the major online call-blocking service that many of us use, thankfully.
