called today on my sprint phone twice @ ~ 7:40 p.m. - no messages were left.

saw this # as a missed call.. tried calling back busy signal.. saw it as a missed call again today and just rang and rang.

I rec'd a call from this number and when I answer it was my son calling. , and he was using the Sprint calling card I had purchase for to make calls from camp. So I take this maybe a routing number for Calling Cards.

I called Sprint Customer Service and asked if this is a number used by any of their offices. The agent told me that it appears to be a fax number for an internet insurance company they use. Because I am a Sprint customer, he put me on their Do-No-Call list, and I suspect my phantom phone calls will stop. I explained to him my feeling that while it is legal for Sprint (or any other business) to call someone who sends them money every month, it's not smart if that person has clearly indicated he/she does not wish to be called; they might become irritated and stop sending money! He laughed and said, "Good point." When my cable company made an unwanted call to me, I said the same thing, and they gave me a month of service free. Obviously, it pays off financially or they would not be doing it, so maybe if we all demand some sort of compensation when they disregard our wishes not to be called, it won't be as financially lucrative, and they will stop calling on their own - without the government's intervention. Unfortunately, businesses respond to the almighty dollar more quickly than to doing what is right. It's worth a try. Good luck!

I have gotten several calls from this number starting in June. I have never answered the calls because I don't recognize the number, but the has never been a voice mail left. I have my number on a do-not-call register.

Okay I just got a call from this number this morning..I didn't pick it up b/c I'm on the west coast and it was early (East Coast time). I checked my voice mail and they didn't leave a message. I googled the number when I got to work and didn't expect the responses I've read. Weird.

got the call but didn't answer since I didn't know or recognize the area code no message left have not tried to call back...sprint

I get a call from this number several times a week.

Called Sprint/Nextel ( I do have their service). This number comes up as Verizon wireless. The person assisting me in customer service was very nice and went on to the web address: fonefinder.net. Sure enough, it lists as Verizon out of Philadelphia. She deducted that they were saying they are Sprint/Nextel when customers are upset at the repeated phone calls. Makes no sense, does it? Hope this helps everyone, possibly one could call Verizon and get the Philly number and demand they stop harassing us and pretending to be Sprint. Good luck everyone!

Received two calls in the early a.m. last week. Received a call today in the evening. They didn't leave a message the first two times. Today I answered, and no one responded. When I called back - the number rang like 30 times. Very strange. If the call IS from Sprint, why did they refuse to respond when I answered the call? I don't like this.
