Lol you got a general attorney for people trying to save you money? Its not the companies fault that your hubby thought itd be a good idea to try to save ya some money
That is totally irrelevant, if your tired of the calls put your number on the national do not call list then its illegal but until then their is nothing that can be done lol.
ONLY THING THAT CAN BE DONE WITH YOUR Account NUMBER IS GETTING A SUPPLIER!!! THIS IS NOT A SCAM GET EDUCATED
This Company is Verde not Verity. They are a legitimate company. They produce energy through "green" methods. They may save you money on your bill but this is not a scam. It is just a personal matter if you want to go through them for supplying your power or not.
Verde energy is a real company, I'm a sales rep and a customer of verde energy. We are people just like you, we're just doin our job which is to explain to you that you have the right to choose how much you pay for your electricity. It's just another option for you and is actually really beneficial. We don't ask for your social, any birthdates, or bank accounts it's simply your electric account # which no one can do anything with other than pay your bill which is not what we're doing. The website is lowcostpower.com. And once again were just doing our job, we are real local people that do have feelings so next time you answer the phone try not telling us to go kill ourselves.
I don't give a rat's [***] if Verde Energy USA is a legitimate company. My phone number is on the "Do Not Call List" which means (if they can read) "[***], I don't want your crap and sales pitch."
My boyfriend worked for them for a few months. I can say they are legit. Depending on the salesperson they may not tell you that if you don't actually read every single statement and just pull the bottom off and pay your bill your rates WILL go up to a variable rate after a certain amt of time. Sometimes they can save you money, sometimes not. They do send you a 75 dollar check if you switch. Just know, the sales people are working on commission so they may leave certain things out. The company tells it employees to write deals even if the customer is going to get hit with a termination fee or what not. Also they treat their employees like crap with crap pay and even crappier "commission" on a Friday they told my bf come Monday they were closing the office but he could work from home. Strictly paid commission. 10 bucks for each deal he wrote!! Some days he wrote zero but they still expected him to be on the phones for 8hrs. The last straw was his first week he wrote 14 sales (which will pay nobody's bills) and his check was 70 dollars. They had some excuse about how some deals didn't go through. Also know that they will hire ANYONE so you never know who's on the other end. Moral is, legit? Mostly. Ethical? Not at all!! Screw you verde!!
