The only thing less "professional" than the level of work you crooks do is the credibility of the shills you send to 800 notes to try to control the damage the Truth causes you.Your work here is done, you can go back to the boiler room now.
I got 8 windows (Double pain with the inert gas) 13 layer coating) and a full with patio door (same specs asthe windows) from Windows Nation, in Maryland, total cost (Windows = $2,400 + Patio Door $850) for Total Price of $3,250. My gas and electric bill was cut in half.
I live in arbutus, Maryland and like a dumb dumb let them coax me into signing a same day contract for a roof to the tune of 14k if I signed same day or 19k if not.. Since they use GAF roofing materials and the GAF plant is in baltimore I called GAF to price out their very best materials. With all the materials delivered to my roof the total was just under 3k. Needless to say I decided to do the roof myself and cancel the contract which in the fine print requires page 5 of the contract to be mailed and in their hands before midnight of the 3rd day I didn't dare chance 11k on the post office so I drove up to chester, pa and hand delivered my cancellation then made the front desk girl sign, date and time stamp it. Now they keep calling me wanting 15% of the original estimate even though I cancelled 14 hours before the deadline..
Door to door salesmen seemed nice enough but way overpriced and won't take no for an answer.. they need reminded that there are regulations on telemarketers and we are ready to file a complaint with the attorney general's office.
I signed up for a contest with them. They called, I told them I live in a rental and cannot/will not update these things. they keep calling....
Yes, this number and a couple of others are some siding company that started calling me yesterday. There were some guys walking around in my neighborhood trying to get appointments. I had a friend do a job like this (and yes, some do lie about having done work around just to start a conversation or give you an appearance of being legitimate (I have no clue about them). That friend informed me that was a common tactic.I felt bad for the guy so I said yes to an appointment, even though having an understanding with the guy that I had no interest whatsoever in their product/service. They've called me over 10 times over the course of 8 hours, and usually leave a voicemail with some music playing. Several times it was a very professional sounding woman, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I'm hoping they stop soon, they keep leaving VMs even though I've blocked them from my phone.
For the second time in 3 months I get called for a free roofing estimate, I said yes. Then I get a call on the cross streets near my house, and to confirm the appointment. Then an hour or two before hand I get a call from this number, with a person rudely saying there was a mix up and we can't stop be, or we are no longer in the area. I guess this company doesn't want any business.
Got a call at my business, we are a very, very reputable long time company in the construction/building/improvements field specializing in one particular skill of the field. They called said they were 'Power Home Remodeling' with excess customer base and did we want to share the wealth and help them. I knew it was a scam, lead the guy on and had him believing the owner would love to work this out (NOT!). Put him on hold, googled the number, found all of these scams as "Power Window and Siding' got back on the line and made "Paul" think the owner was going to get right back to him.
I just had this company install a new roof on 8/26/16. Very detailed company. I was approached at BJs. I dont like that kind of stuff. But he was friendly. I enjoyed talking to him. A lady came to the house and inspected the roof. We talked until 11.45 pm. A little over priced. They use some kind of air venting to keep attic cool.
