This is a love hate situation. They are a primary contractor estimator. They will sales/talk with the home owner. The products they sell are excellent. The range of services provided is wide. As the primary contractor they sub-contract the work to local working companies. It's a good deal all around. Local companies get jobs that they would otherwise would not be able to take the time to bid on. Pricing is based on your area. If you are in a high overhead area like NYC/NJ/Long Island. Pricing might not be that great. Your mileage may vary.They will cold call to drum up business. If you are part of a big box store like BJ's. You can expect a call. If you do not have work to be done or would like to be taken off the list. Just ask. I am not a sales person for this outfit. I had work done on some windows. The energy savings are to be expected. That part is very true.

They showed up at our house, we asked if they do skylights, rep said they did so we scheduled an appointment. The guy was very nice but after three hours it turns out they dont do skylights. And the quote they gave us for a new roof with gutters was $36,000!!!! They had a financing option with a 29% interest rate and for just $1,700 a month we could pay it all off in 7 years. We said no. That was 5 months ago and they haven't stopped calling. Now they are saying they are going to show up this weekend to discuss the offer again. My husband and I have both received calls from them and told them we are not interested, they still keep pushing for coming to the house. Oh and power is a third party contractor. They hire local companies to do the work and just have then put a sticker on their trucks with their logo. I would rather directly hire the local roofer myself and not pay extra for third party fees.

This is a legitimate phone number for a legitimate business. I used this company for replacement windows in Texas and was 100% satisfied.

I had a roof and gutters put on my home by powers 18 month ago, One of their workers fell through my ceiling<<<

they knocked on my door, had them come talk to my husband on a Saturday and the stupid lady was there for over 5 hours for a free estimate.......needless to say my husband was stupid enough to sign paperwork and apparently applied for a loan to get this roof done and they will be starting on it this coming Friday morning............now they are calling me all the time and I will NOT answer ...............pretty pissed about all this.

didn't get involved it was all my husband and low and behold they are replacing the roof as we speak...........when they dropped off the dumpster yesterday they placed it in our driveway where I park my car and the supplies were put where the dumpster was to go and then some of the supplies was thrown in my flower bed..............I was pretty pissed...........so once this is done today I will be calling them as I have the number and letting them know that I (I don't care what my husband thinks) am very displeased with their customer service services..............if the price was too much that is his fault for not doing more research............and I am tired of the disrespect that they took out on me mainly, the dumb woman that did the "free" estimate point blank asked my husband actually said to my husband " so your wife just doesn't care what you do or what your house looks like on the outside" they were sitting on my porch talking and I was in my room and heard her through the window, yep I was eaves dropping. but that was just a rude comment that she made and they just called me again for the 3rd time today, I am at work call my husband he is home because you are to be at my house doing the roof and the project manager text me at 8 saying he was heading to another site but there would be a foreman there overseeing the work today and gave me his name..............I will be calling them today.

This person approached my home and said he was a rep from Power Wnodws and Siding. Claims they just completed a job in the area. I think they drive around and bang on doors to drum up business. I hope that they stop calling if I don't want a free estimate. Has any home owner used this company for and work?

They actually put new windows and a sliding door in my house about 2 years ago. They actually did a fantastic job and I love the windows. They do call back every once in a while or show up at your door every once in a while if they are in the area trying to sell other products.

I found this site reporting this as being from from Power Windows & Siding, I was at BJ's a couple of weeks ago and spoke to a rep there who put me through on the phone to the appointment setter, after a few moments she told me that they dont work on townhouses and that was that, apparently they do recycle numbers which explains the call today. I think I'll call them back and get them to toss my number.

I live in a townhouse in Elkton,MD. A high pressure salesman came to my house and offered me a price good only if I signed a contract that day. From what I read on the net, this is their standard operating procedure. I am embarrassed to admit that I fell for it. I am old enough to know better. When I came to my senses, I cancelled the order. However, I just received a fedex envelope containing a letter from an attorney informing me that if I don't pay a cancellation fee of $2,280.00 within 30 days, they will take legal action to recover the total $15,000.00 amount outstanding on the contract. I am 67 years old and on a fixed income and, needless to say, I cannot afford to pay either of these amounts. any suggestions on solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
