This is indeed an HCMC phone number. It's a generic one that shows from patients making an outgoing call from the hospital.
He left a stupid-sounding message saying he was "John Johnson with the Drug Enforcement Agency", that they'd heard there was drug dealing at our locatin and that they were going to sweep"" our place this afternoon.I'm glad to see the other info posted on this site; it sounds like he's a patient at Hennepin County Medical who gets to a phone occasionally to make crank calls.
This number called 3 times last night. Once at 11pm and twice more at 1am. No messages were left.
I thought the same! I think it is very likely that this number is being used by mental patients, which accounts for some of the goofiness reported in calls (not that everyone on a mental ward is goofy, but bored people with poor boundaries do weird things). I'm not answering this number.
This number is definitely someone calling out for the Hennepin County Medical Center(HCMC) to get ahold of you. I got two calls at 1 am and it could've been from anywhere in the hospital.Call 612 873 3000 and give them last names to see it could have been. They can put them into the system and see who might have called you if no voicemail was left.
This number keeps calling me, at all hours of the day. Does not leave a message and I'm not able to get a hold of anyone when I call it back. I am not a patient at HCMC, nor do I know anyone at that hospital. This number needs to quit calling my phone.
