Hello, This company has repeatedly called me regarding my "credit card" despite me saying that I would sue them, several times, if they did not stop calling me. They are calling from Canada and costing me money. This is absolutely ridiculous.Sincerely,Elizabeth Murray
Kepp rec'ing calls from this number anywhere from 7 am to 10:pm- rings 3 times and then No one there- I want this to Stop! I have tryed serval times to return call with no answer.
From a call center, caller speakes poor english, requesting to get personal information including address cc number to mail off gift card offered for using my cc at a location they do business with. calls are 4 and 5 times a day. have been told to stop calling and are advised the call is recorded, they hang up.
Male caller asking if I was Filipino or if anyone Filipino living in my household. Got the same type of phone call at work also.
Hey Will, one way I block such callers is by using the free GoogleVoice service. -- I transferred it from my office landline to my cellphone, and then ported to Google Voice, because at the time they only ported cell numbers. I'm not sure if that is still the case. But anyway, they log incoming and outgoing phone calls in history, so I can look to see who called me recently. One of the options available is to click "block caller". After doing so anyone calling from that phone number will get a message that "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service". Pretty slick. It has cut down on all of the repeat spammers for me.Google Voice also has a lot of other nice features. Like I can have it ring my landline AND my cellphone (& my computer if I like), I can also record (incoming) calls, and switch from one phone to another (ie. cell to landline or vice versa) in the middle of a call. Check it out if you haven't. It's worked well for me so far. Btw, it's also handy if you switch cell carriers. You can just take whatever number the new company gives you without porting your old number, along with any delays or interruption in service that might entail, and point your Google number to the new cell phone number. There are a lot of other slick features too, but you could check those out on their website if you're interested.
So my 11 year old daughter received a call from this number. They asked for someone who doesn't even have this number anymore and the lady consistently argued on the line. I myself took the phone and tried to explain she had the wrong number and she proceeded to not only call me a liar, but to use profanity and threaten to be sure to call again...Even if it's a scam, they are out of line...DONT ANSWER FOR THIS NUMBER!!! maybe some company needs reminders on what the laws are for harassing phone calls...
a few months back the same thing was happening to me ..for about 1 wks i must have got the calls after the first one i never answered again kiknew it was a scam...so monhts have gone by and now I'm getting this other number calling me last night and this afternoon i didn't answer either one of the calls i didn't recon with one of of them the same number 613-333-3456..i knew it was a zip code i don't recon..so this morning i googled it and this page shows up...we got to stay a step in front of these kind of people..and spread the word..i am getting much more wiser throughout the yrs over this kind of schemes and scams..thank you all for the info..and take care
