These people keep calling me to verify my visa card

The people calling from this number are phishing for info so they can steal your identity. They called about a credit card that was being used online illegally, and was summarily cancelled. I told them I was going to report them to the police, but they keep calling from this number and from a 214-214-0002 number. Freakin' criminals!!!

Same thing happened to me. I had researched this before, though, as I had a missed call from them and knew it was a scam. So when they called again I asked for them to verify the whole credit card number and she said she only had the last 4 digits. Mildly reasuring. Just wanted to share that piece of info for everyone.

I received numerous calls from this number since July, but researched it after the first couple and haven't answered once. I blocked the number but received 2 calls from an Unavailable number recently (one that I answered) with an Indian man asking my name but I hung up. Is there a way to file a harrassment charge if I haven't held a conversation?

I received this call,and it was all static with no voice on the other end. I have caller ID and it was 613-333-3456, and now I see what intentions were coming. Hope they are caught and prosecuted.

Just now received the same call, from the same number. With the last four numbers they also wanted to give me $100 card. I called Visa cancelled my card got another one and was told to contact better business bureau and they would investigate and report the fraud dept.

I got called and they had the last 4 of my VISA and wanted to mail me a $100 gift card for being a valued customer. I argued with them for quite some time because I knew my card already had rewards, and they kept telling me this was a different rewards, from a third-party marketing group. They had a heavy Spanish-accent. The first guy even put his "boss" on the line to speak with me. They even tried to sell me a "great-deal" vacation package, for which I declined. They asked me to verify my mailing address for the gift card. Today I found a fraudulent charge on my card. I reported it to my bank.

They told me they were calling in regard to my visa ending in (and read my last 4 numbers) and that since I use my visa card i was entitled to a $100 gift card. I told her no thanks and do not call me back. She then said she would call me back and she hung up. I called back and got recording it was a non working number. Foreign speaking lady

I received 2 calls today from this number stating they are from Global Rewards and had the last 4 digits of my card along with my address. Very scary, I called the bank cancelled card reported the scam and also reported this to my local sheriff's department. Do not give them any information.

i get called by this number 5 times a day at least! i live on the east coast and was called tonight at 12:00am. usually i dont answer but it really pissed me off due to the time. i let the guy on the other end have it and told him to lose my number! it always is an indian woman or man that calls and its always about my visa card. how the hell do they get our numbers?? i'll tell you how, whenever you get gas and use your card these people running the stations have access to our card info. something needs to be done. beware to all , curse them out and hang up it will let out some stress that they cause by breaking your stones!
