I've been getting annoying phone calls from 613-333-3456; even late at night. I want it to stop.
Just got 4 phone calls from this number tonight from two women trying to send me something. I told them NOOOOOO and they still called again!!!
I've been called thre times in two hours by this number. They won't leave a message and I'm not about to answer. I see many others are being harrased by these people. Time to call the bank and my phone cell phone service.
Just got a call 11:05p.m said I won some gift card or something spoke very fast.. only gave me the last four digits of my visa card and wanted to verify my info.. This has scam all over it...
Had a missed call from this number yesterday evening around 7pm EST, and just called again tonight at 11pm EST. Did not answer as I don't routinely answer calls with numbers that I don't recognize - especially at 11pm! I then googled this number, and stumbled upon these posts. When will this madness stop? I hate feeling exposed like this...will be checking statements with a fine-tooth comb. Come on scammers, get a life (and a real job)! Maybe I will learn how to swear in Indian and be prepared with a nasty response if they call again (which I'm sure they will)! Then again, why would I waste my time talking to such lowlives...
Got a phone call from these people last night and they had the last 4 digits to a credit card that I had recently cancelled b/c of fraudulent charges that were made on it by some company I have never even heard of. Strange they call me after this charge had appeared. They also had my name and phone number and were trying to get me to say yes to anything they could. I cut the woman off and told her not interested and how did she have so much information on me. She just kept saying that she was with Global Rewards and that they wanted to give me a free $100 visa gift card for being a valued customer. I asked her if she was with the said credit card company of those last 4 digits and she said no. I hung up. Got another call today and this time I cut the woman off mid sentence after she spouted out those 4 digits to the cancelled card. I told her I don't have a visa so how is it possible that I'm a valued customer to a visa I don't have. She hung up on me. Big surprise there. A piece of advice, never say yes to anything. Not even to verify your name. Use other words instead. If a telemarketer says is this so and so? reply this is she/he. You never know if you are talking to a honest person or a scam company that will cut your yes from your recorded conversation and dub it in as a yes to a massive charge and try and say they have it recorded that you agreed to the charges. I've read about it happening to other people. This is something my parents told me when I was younger and I have never forgotten.
This number calls 1 of my cell phones and they never leave a message. They tend to call in the afternoons till early evenings for a total of 7 times a day. They don't call on weekends (days off?).Anyway, I tried calling the number on another phone and got a message stating that the number was no longer in service. Does the "DO not call" list help with this?
Received two calls tonight. Did not answer 2nd call at 11:30 PM. Same story as all these posts. Claimed I won $100 gift card and they had my name address and last 4 digits of a credit card I cancelled due to fraudulent use. Why has this not been stopped??? I reported it to my bank and FTC
