Automated call, "won a trip to Cancun". Calling back results in FAKE number disconnected message.

Just got an annoying call on my cell. Ugh - what a waste of my minutes!

got a call from this number a few minutes ago, i didnt pick up so i looked it up and found this thread

I got a call from them and when I answered I got an earful of spanish and a hang up. Anybody know who these people are?

call display was from out of country. (I am in the 416 area code.)Did not pick up. no message left. googled the number and this came up.
