I got a call at my work number 9:30am on July 10th, 2008 from a lady stating: "This is a Confidential and Important message meant soley for (MY NAME). This is (pause) Becky. I am (pause) required to notify you that I am calling from Medical Accounting Services.Please call me back today at 1-800-999-0203 when calling back Reference ID 22390???. Again the number is 800-999-0203"Sounds like "Becky" isn't sure what her name is or why she's calling. I did a caller id since it was on my work phone. It came from: (614) 717-4395.This was unusual because I don't even use my work number for anything. AND I don't work 'normal day time' hours. EVERYONE in my lift knows I don't work during the daytime hours & don't use my work number. I googled the 614-717-4395 and found several entries stating 'who are these people'. Needless to say, I will NOT BE CALLING BACK. I'm not sure what the 1-800- number is, but 999 doesn't sound good. Maybe they should use "666"

I've been getting calls from these people for almost a year. They want my social security number. They have the first and last 4 digits and want me to verify my identity with the rest. I said no. This number was on my phone, but they claimed to represent the IRS. That made me a little nervous, so I cooperated as much as I could without breaking my rules thank God. It wasn't good enough for them. They always say they will send mail, but never do.

Recieved a call for a Dwight Smith. Have no idea who this person is. Never worked for our firm. 2:03pm 7/16/08

Got this call today, 2 in a row. Have gotten other calls from other numbers with same m.o. and under a cloak of a collection agency, which I don't think they are. If it is a legitimate agency, it uses bad and illegal business practices. I don't have any loan or bill that is in collection. Perhaps someone who had my cell phone number before did, which is sometimes the case with these calls. After 1 request they should stop calling. If not, report them. Law enforcement agencies where they are located (Dublin, Ohio) should be contacted as well about this activity.

This number was on my caller ID when I got home so I thought I would look it up,glad I did. It said NCO FINANCIAL on bottom of caller ID

I have been reading this thread as I had been recieveing calls from 614-717-4395 same as many others. I called the University Service Depatment at 1-866-443-4884 listed by Mike. They said that they were a call center for many companies and that OSI was one of their clients. They trasferred me to OSI and I asked why I was being called. They refused to say, so I asked them not to call anymore. They said they wouldn't, we shall see I suppose. If anyone else is getting these calls, I would recommend calling the 866# I listed and get them to transfer you, all they will ask for is your phone# that you are recieving the messages at, nothing else. However, what everyone doesn't know is that both NCO Financial Systems, and OSI use the same mailing address. I received two mailings.
