Got a call at 9am est on a Sat. morning from 6147914717, asked if I was Mr. xxx. I asked who was calling and he said Mike from OSI and that he was calling about an application 'on his desk'. He then read off a name, last 4 SS and birthdate. I said I don't know anything... but what application? He wouldn't say. I asked where he was and he said Ohio. He asked again if I was Mr. xxx and I again said no and hung up. I looked up the phone but it came back as unpublished, but a bit of digging revealed that they are a collection agency.

I've received a number of calls from this number...Sometimes I ignore the call, and chose to answer on a couple of occassions...On the occassions that I answered, there was no response on the other end...I'm glad I found this post because I had no clue who/what this was.

annoyed by the student loan people...seriously, thanks to obama...no one has a job to pay for their loans.i really wish they would just stop calling....

I just received a call they were asking for someone i have never heard of i must have told them NO 100 times thank goodness i was a sleep or i would have gone ballistic on the person

call came through on a cell phone that is only used for EMS in Trumbull County business at 9:06 on 2/28/08. Online research indicates this number is used extensively for non-invited calls.

I have been getting calls fromthis number for a couple of weeks. They call all day and night but never leave an message. I don't return call when they don't leave number so they keep calling. It's really annoying. But can't figure our how to make them stop calling. When I tried to call it back it said the number was busy. Any ideas

This number just called me and I did not answer. I googled the number and ran across this site and all of these comments. So, I called the number back and it went straight to an automated msg. It said that I could leave a message but the box was full. Idk.

Have been getting calls non-stop from this company. As soon as they started calling, I call the company which holds my student loan, negotiated a settlement, then paid it. I received the settlement letter in the mail, and my credit report shows that it is paid. This company is still continuously calling me. I answered one time, told them that the debt has been paid, and that I will fax them a copy of the settlement letter if it will stop the threats of garnishment and phone calls. The lady on the other end got belligerent and kept threatening me with garnishment if I don't negotiate a payment to them that they find satisfactory. My next step is to let them try to garnish me and then sic a lawyer on them, I guess.

I also received a call from this collection agency for a Colon Lopez which is not my name and I do not know anyone by that name. I told them I don't know who that is and to remove my number. they asked me to verify my name I told them I'm going to tell them my name and to remove it again. She proceeded to argue with me and say that she can not help me and is not going to remove it then hung up the phone. I found this very funny because I use to work ERC a collections company in Jacksonville, FL and know the F.D.C.P.A. by heart. So I called OSI Corp. office and reported the harassment and notifed them that as per the FDCPA I do not have to give them any info and when a Sub says they want their number PON (Put on notice= remove my number from the dialer/system) they are to do it, no questions asked and then politely end the call. Also the individual can be sued/fined $1,000.00 and the company can also be sued also for their poorly trained individual that made the call. needless to say the young lady on the line craped her pants and transfered me to her superior and my info was removed and they assured me that the collector will be taken care of.Ha Ha Hah 1 for the good guys 120,231,410 for OSI. lolAnyone who needs help with removing your info please feel free to email me @ Lopez8971@comcast.net
