Left a message saying they are NCO Financial bout debt collection, the pretty standard message about being required to notify you they are a debt collection agency, and to call them back.
I have been dealing with Nancy THE [***] Warner for a few months now. Even though I was cooperating with NCO and paying off my student loan that went into default, they still treated me and my dad (he was helping) like crap every time we called them. My dad would call to make sure they got the payment, etc. He payed ahead for February (aka paid twice) and they refused to recognize it, said he paid what he paid for that month, they wouldn't apply it to march). Nancy Warned then made nasty personal statements about me to my dad, and then was a jerk to him. So I called and laid into her, and she is a useless drone, just kept saying "this won't go away" over and over again. Duh, I'M PAYING YOU! So I stopped paying and sent a letter demanding to have a new collector, I refuse to pay that [***] salary. I'm hoping they will give up and it will be sent to someone who can be nice to a complying debtor!
Harrassing guy on phone by the name of 'Tony,' possibly 'Whithers.' After informing him not to call my house again, because the person he is asking for no longer resides at my property and phone number, calls back and becomes more malign. I will pursue this with local police department, then may file class suit with the company he works for.
I will join the class action suit. These people are crooks, con artists. How in the world do they get your work, cell ect number? They must be stopped!
The man from this number called my brother claiming to be from a temporary employment agency, checking up on a reference. I knew this was wrong because you cant use family as references, and I have never used him on any kind of application.
someone from this number called twice at 5:25 and 5:29 A.M. Isnt there a rule about calling before 8 a.m. pacific standard time? Where is the FTC website? I was asleep luckily and didnt get to the phone on time, but if i had answered, im sure it wouldnt have been pleasant.
OSI guy calls my mother yesterday. He claims since my loans are in default that OSI is bringing a class action suit against me and my mother (my co-signer). We have offered Sallie Mae payments of $100 to $150 to $200 per month for the last two years, but have been refused. They're saying the interest is too high. Now, they're putting me in default and sold the interest in my case to OSI. I talked to the same guy and told him I'd pay $150 per month. He laughed at me and took great pleasure in insulting me for a good five minutes. I can't wait until he calls again. I'm going to offer $200 per month and let him laugh at me again. I'm going to record him and take it to court. The judge will side in my favor and request a monthly payment for about half the amount. BRING THEM ON!!! I know they want me to crap my pants and offer $400 a month so I don't have to go to court, but I won't be doing that. I'm even thinking of a counter-suit.
I got a call from this number today on my cell phone. I answered because my sister-in-law lives in Columbus, OH so I thought it might be her. When I answered, the person just hung up.
So I was an idiot and attempted to cooperate with these unprofessional rude and dishonest individuals from OSI. Surprise surprise, no matter how much of my personal information I gave them, applications I filled out and payments I made to them to supposedly re-hab my student loan, they constantly called me. Let me be more specific, it was a telephone assault on me! They have made it a habit to have someone call my cell phone 5 times a day on average for 6 days a week, every week! That is even after having the application filled out, a payment plan in place, and making on time payments. Do the math, thats 30 calls a week, and 120 calls minimum a month, and yes this went on for months..... still is after 9 months 95% of their calls are "call& hang-ups" on my voicemail, and then occasionally they will leave 1 unintelligible message. So you get off work at the end of the day and you look at your phone and theres 5 missed calls (one time it was 10 missed calls in less than 2 hours, are you kidding??!) At any rate, I check my VMail and most of the messages are hang ups. Most municipalities or regulating agencies would define this treatment as harassment, so I learned I can fill out a police report. Now calling back these harassment artists who are obviously trying to wear me down (violation of the FDCPA), does no good at all. The person who called me is not there, they have no voice mail, no one knows when they will be back, Im not aloud to have their last name, they wont take a message. Oh and if I do get ahold of this person who called me like some 3rd grader on the phone with OCD, then all they seem to want is to "update" my account information. Wait a second, I gave you that info 3 months ago -twice-, its the same dam thing, nothings changed, I even have the receipt of the fax right here! Something tells me they didnt like the answers I put to paper. And yeah good luck ever getting anything in witting from these poopie-heads. They only time I got a reprieve from their assault on my phone was when they screwed up their billing and electronically double-billed me sending my account into overdraft, it took them more than 3 weeks to refund the mistake, and I only got some results when I mentioned to them that my bank wanted me to fill out a fraud report. I will sue their dirty little panties off if I get the chance, make sure you complain to any government agency you can about these crooks. victim
