This is not from any Democratic organization, I can assure you. But it it a so-called non-profit which is why it gets through. They call every day at least once and, yes, annoying.
They call every day for the last 3 days and leave no message. Callerid says Anonymous.
I have received only one (unwanted) call from this number on my mobile phone. I hope I receive no more.
Site says "This business has no rating because BBB has information indicating it is out of business."
Can someone please explain HOW/WHERE to file a complaint that actually gets them to stop calling? I work nights and it is now 8:58 AM and I am freaking awake because of these people. Seriously, I am begging, what exact steps must I take to stop these lunatics?
Tremendous amount of calls. We are elderly and don't have much money- but they won't take "I can't at this time". Please put us on your do not call list immediately!!!
You can file a Complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Just go to the FTC website. If you are already on the Do Not Call List simply hit the button (small) where it says "file a complaint". It will lead you through an online complaint form that seems very comprehensive.They have the ability to prosecute.

But to really stop them: Verizon Wireless customer service just blocked 617-492-4474 on my phone for free, until May. It doesn't stop the slime from existing but it's a lot less headache than complaining to the Federal Trade Commission or the Better Business Bureau. AT&T also has a blocking service but don't know if they charge a fee or not. Ditto for Sprint.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
