This is Midland Credit and they buy credit card debts and have been known to call relatives of debtors as well as taking payments and not applying the payment to debt make sure they credit any payments in writing.
This number has repeatedly called my phone. Foreign accent. Asked for phone#, but does not know who he is calling. Has 3 names at my number who he states he has private business with. One of the names is mine. I told him i did not believe him and hung. What legitimate creditor has three accounts with the same number. I have had my number for 2.5 years.
This number calls, but I have them on a blocked list so it just shows in my missed calls without ringing. I love technology!Debt collector I imagine?

This phone number calls a minimum of 3 times per day (4 times so far today) beginning around 8:30 a.m. They do not leave a message. I am looking into how to block this number.
Lying scum bags!!!!!! I posted my resume online for an engineer job because I've been out of work for almost three months, and these [***] call me acting like a potential employer. Once they verified my name and address they then went on to say they were Midland Credit and attempting to collect on a debt. How is is that legal? Now I'm afraid to ever answer the phone, even if someone leaves a message about a job, how do I know it's not them scamming me again? Something has to be done about these type of collection companies. If I had a job, I'd pay my bills, but I'm close to losing my house and already defaulted on all three credit cards.

From the QUITLINE - can be any state - PA for me - I followed their program to quit smoking and this was a follow up survey - NOT SPAM - The service was helpful and the survey harmless.
Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.
