Got a call at 8:00p.m. on Aug. 13,07. I.D. said kantar ops. Did not pick up phone because it was an unknown number to us.

These guys keep calling me once in a while as well...I never answer to these geeks as I do not recognize the number. I googled the # and came right back with all kinds of people that are getting harrassed! Somebody please pass these people a LIFE..

I work for a phone company and it does not matter if your information is stolen or if you are on "do not call lists". Your number as well as mine and everyone else's is randomly generated by a computer program and is dialed by a computer. Why are you not getting an answer? That's an easy one to answer. The computer calls you and IF you answer it will then light up a light on the telephone of a telemarketer. If the telemarketer is available (may be on another call) they will then pick up the phone and speak to you, otherwise it's dead air. The computer will be given an area code and three prefix numbers and it will dial every possible combination in the area, hence, even unpublished numbers get called.Here's the kicker, the computer will continue to call until a telemarketer actually speaks to you, therefore, you may have the computer calling you every 10 to 15 minutes. In both the US and Canada this is legal and the phone companies are not legally allowed to block these numbers from calling you. You may get frustrated with you phone company because you call and ask them to block these people, they can't, it would be illegal.There is a feature our company offers called call screen which will block up to 10 numbers you never want to hear from. One draw back, there are more than 10 telemarketing companies out there, but, it's a start.Here's what you can do. Believe it or not, our politicians do not believe this is a problem because they don't get many complaints. Well isn't it about time this activity was made illegal?? Phone, fax and email your politicians every time you get a call from these people and let them know just how annoying it is to be called every 10 to 15 minutes and how disrupting it is to your lives!! If you don't do this you really have no room to complain. Do it today!!

Politicians don't give a [***] about automated phone calls because at election time, they use the same system to drive us all insane. It's not in their interest to stop it.

This number has come up repeatedly on our caller ID. Tonight I answered it and the caller told me she had the wrong number as soon as I identified myself. The company has called at least a dozen times in the past 2 weeks. I told the surveyor to remove me from her list. She told me that the computer calls me and she will not and cannot stop it from doing so. There has to be a way to end this harassment.

I received two call from this number this morning, the first time I did not answer and they left no message, the second time I picked up and immediately the female on the other end started blah blha blah... I told her I was on the National DO NOT CALL registry and she said "that doesn't matter, we are exempt". I called her the name every woman in the world hates the most a f*ucki* C**T and hung up. Here is a number to fill up there mail boxes. I will call 100 times a day for the next 30 days.
