Started calling this week 11 calls so far, called 3 times today - started at 8:00 AM nobody on the other end. Tried calling back and just get busy signal.
Thanks I was able to call and have my number removed form the list. I am sure the numbers they have are sold to them by number brokers who collect that information from multiple and unrelated sorces.
they call to get info as much as they can about you, so they can sell the info, they are investigating telemarketers who are infiltrating your privacythey should be told to [***] off and go elsewhere DO NOT DIVULGE ANYTHING JUST HANG UP ON THEM, THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR TIME OR EFFORT
You just made it to the top of the list! You told the computer that the number is GOOD and there is a human to sell stuff too! JUST DO NOT ANSWER!!!!!!!!
Calls come in to my phone almost daily and even more than once a day. I don't answer when I see the caller ID. Is there a way to stop them??
that do not call list is a joke. I am on it too.. and Still get every pesty scamming callers every day,, it may work for the ligament groups that are register with the government like not for profit organizations, but not the ones that are trying to scam or profitable company's.
I was nice to a survery company before and took their survey. Afterwards, I started getting 2 to 3 calls a day asking me to take a survery. When the person identifies themselves now (if I made the mistake of answering the call) I cut them off and tell them I'm not interested in taking a survey.Calls have been reduced since then
These people are extremely rude and won't take no for an answer. He kept saying he isn't selling anything, but wanted the person in charge of the phone/internet/website dept. I said "it sure sounds like you want to sell something then, and we aren't interested" I hung up in his face. He called back and I told him again I don't want to talk and hung up again. He called back AGAIN! So he got the answering machine and gave up. What a [***].
Received call at i:20 pm this date. Live person responded to my hello informing me they were taking a survey for Millward Brown. I informed the caller that they had contacted me on my cell phone which is a violation of FCC rules. I am on the DNC list with the FTC which allows survey calls. However, survey calls to a cell phone are prohibited and the current fine which the FCC does take action to collect on is $16,000 per incident. I am filling an incident report with the FCC if they ever call me again. Nice thing about cell phones is on many the owner can place callers on a REJECT LIST and the phone will refuse to accept calls from those numbers. I have now done such. One less pest to now deal with.
