Told them I did not inquire from them. Their response was how then did they get my number. They even all from 1228 and 1226 numbers. My on phone said they would block the numbers but you cannot block a number which is not a real number? Der! And phone co said I could change my number. I believe all phone companies are in kahoots with all these people. Done fog horn or something!
Got 3 unanswered calls w/o messages from this number. It's funny because I don't even have my name in my message. Whoever had my number before me was a chump who gave it out to every scammer under the sun. Anyways, that's my queue to look here to confirm that it's a scammer before I wait for their next call so I can harass and then block them.
Got the dame call about 15 mins ago. Talking about I won a grant for $9000 to go back to school. Really when you started winning grants. I just added this number to Mr Number app on my phone will not get back thru
Maybe this person does not know how to dial a phone. If that be so I would hope he or she has a friend who can teach them how to place a call

This is easy. Simply NEVER, EVER answer an unknown number. If it's important, they will leave a message. If no message is left, it was not important and you were smart not to answer.
Call from 631-597-1368, wanting to know if wanting to further education. Said from the US Department of Finance and offering free financial aid but not enrolling me in school. Wanted to know what I would be using the money for, personal reasons or for school? I told them I had a HS diploma and a Bachelors, handed me off to someone names Daniel. Asked how they got my number if I wasn't enrolled or even seeking further education, could not answer that question. I then asked very firmly, AGAIN, to have the number removed and they hung up. Called back an hour later!!!!! What can be done to stop this? They are not even asking for me by name, they are asking for BRAD!!!!
