i let these azzholes know in no uncertin time that I am in new York, will hunt them down and slit their throats. The last phoney telemarketer I caught needed reconstructive jaw surgery. I am not to f'ed with.
VERY RUDE!!!! I have a greeting on my voicemail stating I'm busy at certain times of the day for work and don't answer my phone and they left a voicemail after a week of calling me and said "if you're too busy to answer the phone, I bet you don't have a sex life. Virgin." WTF I'm married dumba**. Ham I a virgin if I am married and work?
I too just received a call from this number. Although I didn't answer it, I did check the comments out online here at this website and I'm glad that this type of website is available for consumers to refer to.When I called the number back to ask who it was the message stated that the 'mailbox was full'. I will block my number on my mobile phone. Thanks for the info!Pat Mac
They have called 20 times and always hang up instead of taking me off there list.
Did a little digging and poking about. These calls are coming not from New York, but in fact a software and web-management company in Abu Dhabi. It is located in the United Arabian Emirates, and is where Dubai is located. Am guessing either it is shady-dealing, or perhaps a programmer-turned-hacker doing rogue work using company property. That might also explained why the one person got a carrier signal (squealing) when calling back. It also explains the multiple (hacked) phone numbers. Let's face it folks, this economic shadow-siege has been going on for some time now. The only way out of it is either isolating America's internet entirely, or to stop having so much of our lives revolve around cyberspace. We let the virtual genie out of the bottle before we could figure out how to control it. Consequence is such a pain in the buttocks!
Thank you for posting. All of these same numbers have been calling me 2-3 times aday at all hours. They never leave a message, I don't answer unknown callers.
Just got a call from this # and the man, to my surprise reading other posts, speaking clear English said they received my information about furthering my education. Normally, I'd hang up on calls like this, but my New Years resolution was to not to be such a d**k, so I played along. I responded, "yes, thanks for calling back." And I s**t you know, he literally said, "Seriously?...okay!" And went into his "sales pitch." I honestly wasn't paying attention because I'm at work playing "Battle of Clans" or some s**t, but he kept saying things like "hows that sound," or "does that interest you?" I just stayed upbeat & responded "uh-huh, yes it does, or wow, really.. that does sound good," and he kept going on and on. In all, I probably kept him on the line for 5-6 minutes before interrupting him, by asking him if he was interested in furthering HIS education... silence for a quick 2-3 seconds, a loud "G-D dammit!" and a hang up. I didn't even get to go into my fake sales pitch... what a jerk!
