Phone rang, answered the phone, no one there, their line hung up. First time I get this call, hope it doesn't occur again as per other peoples experiences.

We also have a painting business,and received a similar message...we were told the fellow leaving the message name is George Car, but to email his brother Don at Don@doncar.info as he was visiting folks out of state and won't be available for at least few weeks and that Don is handling the painting arrangements. Seemed suspicious to me, so i decided to do a little search of the number....GLAD I did!!! Thank you for posting about the bogus call!!

I own a painting company in northern California and received the same phone message regarding leads from a George Car who will be out of town and that I should respond to email:don@doncar.info - his brother. George's message promised "dozens of homes to paint in my area" . I haven't responded as it sounds fishy. My email address is rmc@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for the posts. I got mail. Jeff and his wife Nita are asking if I want to sell my house. Stockton, Ca. Says call if interested: 641-715-3900 extension: 848672. Seemed odd. After reading these posts, I'm glad I didn't call.

Annoyingly MY phone number is only 1 number off of this phone number. Every day and night (yes even the middle of the damn night) people call my phone number. Really dont want to change it, but its coming to that point. Whoever these [***] are using 3900, I want to hurt you.

CALL NOW: 641-715-3900 EXT: 230188Fwiw, I'd been responding to job openings on Craigslist. The CL ads looked legit, except they didn't provide a company name. Wondering if this is where these guys got my address....?
