Got one of these calls today along with phony IRS police. Maybe i should sick Donald Trump on them!!!

Call hang up at 658 am PDT. Obviously they now have no respect for different time zones. Oh, that's right! They are crooks -- so why would they care what time they called? Do not pick up and do not interact with them or your number gets sold. You then get more calls and they get money for selling your viable number. Remind eldery and impaired to not pick up unless they hear the person's voice and know it -- or the caller ID is not a number they know. Always make sure they have voice machine. Talked with 90 year old friend yesterday. She talked with "this weird guy" who was from Microsoft. She does not have a computer and knows nothing about them. I went through steps for her to screen calls. Her problem is mobility: getting to the machine to hear the voice before picking up. Please warn them not to pick up the phone and they are not paranoid as we always thought "old" people were -- they are crooks and they do want to steal their money. Such a sick world it is. And people complain about the government wanting to screen calls to catch terrorists ... and people on this list complain because the government does not shut these jerks down. Hello -- common sense folks! No privacy. Long gone.

Didn't answer and no message left, but it comes up as Cell Phone New York, and clearly this thread indicates it's an India-based scam.

Got a call on my cell from 646-612-3456. Did not recognize the number but answered anyway. The caller had an extremely thick Indian accent and I could barely understand him. He had my name and number and mentioned something about my computer system being corrupted and that this was not a sales call. I immediately suspected a scam, hung up, and put a block on this number. I then typed the number into Google and wound up here. Be aware and don't give these people any information whatsoever!

Caller has made numerous calls to my home and cell numbers. I have not answered them and they have left no messages.

I read some of the other entries about this number before I am placing my comments as no one answered me when I said "hello." I hung up on them since they did not respond right away. I called back and the number hung up instantly. Don't know what it was about but when the call back disconnected, I figured it was a scam.
