Accented male called from this number, asking for one of the company principals. When informed she was not in, he declined to leave a message & stated he would call tomorrow. I informed him we're closed on the weekend & he then stated he will send her an email.CID only said New York NY and caller did not identify himself nor his business. Thus, I'm listing this as a scam.
Spam call, claiming to be from TradePub.com. The guy was obviously Indian and claimed to be named "Ryan Williams." (Yeah, right.) Before he started talking when I answered, another person with an Indian accent was telling in the background, "ARGHHH! THESE PEOPLE!" Ignore this call. It's nothing of importance.
A man called looking for one of our employees, but the background sounded noisy like a telemarketer
This is Tradepub. I don't know if any of you signed up for plum benefits through your place of employment. I'm thinking this is where they obtain info from.
"David from New York" claimed I did business with them (Trade Pub), totally untrue. I get these calls from them about every 3-4 weeks. Where I work we don't have the option of blocking these numbers. Sad.
Called and identified as from an IT-related trade pub. I said I have no such role at the company and offered to transfer to the switchboard for redirecting to the IT dept. The caller declined. About 10 minutes later, he called again and went through the same spiel. I replied that he had just called and I told him then that I had no such role and that hadn't changed in 10 minutes.
Jade from TradePub.com, asked for my supervisor by name. Said she was following up on research he'd done on their site. When I said he was out of the office and asked for a number to schedule a return call she stated she'd follow up via email and hung up.
A woman with an annoying accent called to speak to a person who no longer works here . She then asked to speak to the manager. I placed her on hold and she then hung up

Call received at 09:43 a.m. on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. No caller identifier was given, so I let the answering machine pick up. No message was left. The call originated in Calgary, AB.
