someone from this number called 30 January at 8:15 p.m., but did not leave a message on my answering machine
Strategic Telec was on the caller id. They called but did not answer when I said hello. I called back and followed the automated instructions to be put on their do not call list.
It's a political fundraising telemarketer. Tried to get myself put on their do not call list -- doesn't work at all. These guys need to be taken to court.
Political calls are exempt from the Do Not Call list. Groups like this do not keep their own call list, it is provided by the campaign for group they for whom they are calling.
