got a call at 3AM from this number regarding a computer in my house, foreign accent, I was not happy, what ever happen to the DO NOT CALL LIST???????
These calls (654 area code) are originating in Eastern Canada probably Toronto. Therefore these calls are not subject to US law and or do not call. You could find out what the law is in Canada and then file a protest with the Canadian Embassy or your nearest Consulate if you cannot get help with local authorities. Unfortunately, At&T tells me that you cannot block these calls or calls between states which in my opinion anyone should be able to do if you subscribe to blocking call services. Please note the time of day that they call, the number, and frequency of calling. In the United States; it is illegal to call strangers or others after 9pm for business purposes in YOUR time zone. There are certain exceptions but any caller who knows better than to call after 9pm would not call you in the first place.
