Illegal spoofed call, and spoofed call = scam. Didn't answer (I never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers). Blocked this number. (Also, got a call from 657-220-1612 several hours before this one.)
I only answered because I was waiting for a call back from my bank and didn't know what area they were calling from. It was automated, but they tried to make it sound like someone was on the line, "Hello, can you hear me ok? (then they pause) ok, great, congratulations on being such a great customer. " Well, I am a customer, all the time, customer for what is my thought, so I hung up. Really tired of these scams.
Received call on my cell phone which I answered and got no response. Was it a coincidence that I just responded to an internet real estate inquiry?The reason it's not stupid to post here is because this is how we know whether others are getting calls and it's OK to block or ignore.
They called me about an hour and a half ago (when the majority of these complaints started), and I didn't pick up. No message left either.
