Called at 12:45pm Pacific time but did not leave a message. Most likely a scammer. I blocked their number but I doubt it will make a difference; these people just create a random number and spoof it until it gets reported too many times on sites like this, then they switch to a new number.

What I do is simply not answer if I don't recognize the number. I figure if it's important, they'll leave me a message. Few do.

You ARE right... I've always used BoNot Call, but to no avail... A few years ago, I compiled a ton of spam numbers from my main line, followed the organization's (FCC?) procedure and got a ton of letters from them saying there is nothing they can do for ANY of them, thanks for my time...NOW I use a GoogleVoice number and move it from phone to phone as the phone itself gets spammed up... A couple years before GoogleVoice, I bought a new Verizon cellphone, got it all set up including with DoNotCall, but before I got to start handing out the new number it too was spammed out... I gotta wonder if Spammers have a connection to DoNotCall...
