Just got this call and could not understand what company or the reason for the call-- also the call back left in the message was different and seemed to be missing a digit

I got this call twice, the first time about 6 months ago where they left a message in the wee hours of the morning that said, "hello?.....you're an a**hole!" and hung up, and the second time, yesterday, same american male voice, that asked me, "are you having sex?", and a few other odd statements, before I hung up. The first time I called back it said it was a skype number, but this time I called back and the call was answered. I heard some background noises, said hello but couldn't get a reply before they hung up on me. I called again and got the same familiar skype message

I just got a call from this number. I have the recorder on auto answer and it has the "I'm sorry the number you have dialed has been disconnected" recording from the phone company. So if I don't recognize the number I let it answer..... Friends know to leave a message and I'll call back.....

Has called our office several times the past three days, asks for Dr by first name, then wants a fax and email for the office. When told we don't hand them out she hangs up. Has a heavy Asian accent

I just received a call from 661-748-0240, Yes it is a scam, they got me a month ago on 5/15 . I bought something with my CC and was informed I was overcharged and they needed to return my money. i said if it was from my CC then they needed to return it that way.Dummy me I thought I'd play along to see how far they would go. Big mistake as they managed to hack into my savings account. even though I shut my computer off and unplugged it as soon as i hung up. They took just enough not to look suspicious. They continue to call but use many different numbers. I don't answer the phone anymore when it's a strange number.

Yeah... Just got a call from this #... It's just a Skype #... Anyone can use it... It's not for just 1 person.... I found out it was my mother calling me from Skype because her phone went dead... So be careful answering random calls from Skype unless you know someone that has Skype...

6/14/13 I received a call from this number, they said they were getting error messages from my computer and that they were from Windows. They wanted me to download something from Teamviewer.com which I told them no and not to call me again.

I had a missed call on my work phone. Called back and the message I got was: "This call could not be completed because you are trying to call a Skype user"!

Uh, no. You are 100% wrong. While yes, this "caller" is 100% a scam (Microsoft doesn't call you to try to fix your computer), the company I work for absolutely does do remote access repairs. We are contracted to corporations like Office Depot, Office Max, Sony, Comcast, Rogers, NortonLive, AOL, etc, to do this. We have over 1000 employees. But we also don't call you up randomly to access your computer. You call us when you need it.Even Best Buy is doing this type of thing now.But again, THIS is a scam. Unless you called for help, and you know the company (Again, Microsoft does not do Virus Removals or PC Repairs), don't trust them.

Got a call at my desk at work from this number. This Indian accent. So think I couldn't understand him. After I said "huh" about 10 times, he hung up. Sorry...try again.
