So the replies on here that are supporting the collection agency are from people that wok for the collection agency. It is very obvious. 1) they are written almost exaclty the same, many times all in caps. But, it is a different name sending it .. hmmm .. 2) and this one is the funniest, this site is for people that have been receiving these calls and do not know why or are upset about it .. so, why would someone look up this site if they know what the calls a rea bout and are supportive of them? They are employees trying to influence.They called me, I called back and said I have not been to the doctor in 10years, they hung up on me.
I'm so glad I found this site with the information everyone provided. I had a baby in February and was not aware that my insurance company didn't cover the entire amount. PAB called me at work and I was stunned because I've never had a collection agency call me before. They were so rude and very threatening. When I asked if I could set up a payment plan for the amount, they told me, "No' and went on to tell me how much available credit I had on my credit cards. She even told me you can just pay us with your credit card and then set up a payment plan with your credit card company.... Some nerve!!! While on hold, I googled them and decided to call the hospital instead. I was able to settle the debt with the hospital instead of the PAB. Thanks
So I get a call from this number at least one to two times a month...I never pick up and they always leave a message for Adina Strickland, hellllooooo my name is on my answering machine and it is far from Adina Strickland. SMH

I just got a call from this number and no one spoke on the line,,so I called it back out of curiosity. I got some guy named Gilbert tryingto say that they got this from Cobb County Hospital and how much we supposedly owe.. I nearly peed myself . Funny thing is this was paid ( and we had confirmation it was paid) by our insurance carrier. The guy ,,when I tried to explain it to him , got beligerant and said " Yeah sure,, if you paid it why the hell did we get it then?". I told him I havent a clue,, but he needs to get his [***] strait and stop getting strong with a Marine,,Ill show up at his place of work...He then got nice and said they would look into it,,whatever that means.
You are a very rude person, Tray. It takes courage to say things to someone's face. You must have some major anger issues to be this rude. Remember that you can easily become one of the world's struggling people in an instant. I hope your job does not impact people. You need some help.
I've been receiving calls from HCA for months now and it's always been a recording "this is not a sales call, call us back, etc." I finally answered the call last week and spoke to an actual person this time with Patients Account Bureau regarding a debt I owed to my doctor's office. At one time I truly did have a debt with them...but it was paid off over a year ago. HCA was calling me at that time as well, but I paid the doctor's office directly to settle the debt. Now over a year later they are calling me saying that I never paid the debt. I told him to verify it with his client, the dr. office, but he said I have to send him a statement from the dr. saying I don't owe them money. The dr. office has no idea why they would be calling me. I haven't sent them anything and they haven't called in almost a week now.

I started getting calls earlier this week. The first call was the "This is so and so calling about a very important matter" The two calls since they have just hung up when they have gotten my voicemail. They started calling at 8:10am. I wonder if they know that per the Fair Credit Act they can not call before 9am.My $300 is with Piedmont Mountainside, I know I owe it and have been pyaing it down directly to Piedmont, so I am suprised they turned it over....and, this was in Mid March that I went to the ER, not even 90 days past due.Has anyone contacted Piedmont or your Dr to tell them what a low life company this is?I'm wondering if I should just continue to send them in payments or quit?
