I just got a call and message from Jay Bond, from "United Consumers". He left an awkward voicemail that seems pretty fake and with all the skepticism I see from all of you I am glad I am not alone.

I just called the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)and filed a second complaint about this company. I have also received harassing phone calls with hang-ups when I refuse to confirm my social security number. PLEASE call the FTC and file a complaint against this company. The only way the FTC will investigate this scam company is if a number of people register complaints against them. I'd like to see them investigated and shut down!

I missed a call from this number. They left no message. I called back in the afternoon. I gave the receptionist my name and phone number. She transferred me to some guy named Carlos Gomez. He asked to verify my date of birth. I asked him to verify who he calling on behalf of before I verified my date of birth. He said I had to give my date of birth before he would tell me anything about why he was calling. Again, I told him to tell me why he was calling. His next comment was "so you are unwilling to cooperate?" I answered yes and hung up. Carlos was rude and abrupt. He should know he'll never get anywhere with an attitude like that.

PLEASE call the Federal Trade Commission and the Virginia Better Business Bureau and register complaints against United Consumers, Inc. They are trying to scam people, and they need to be investigated. The only way the FTC will investigate them is if a large number of people file complaints.

I wish these collection agencies would quit calling here for people that have never ever lived here. The last 2 times they've called they've asked for a Bla Cashaw Morris. That doesn't even sound like a real name.

call at least one a day and say something like "this is a call for XXXXX. If you are XXXXX please call XXXXXX." No option if you are NOT XXXXX.

Then they turned around and called again within a few minutes and asked for my spouse. Hmmm!!

Got a call from this number asking for *not my first name, not my middle initial* MYLASTNAME. They said to call an 800-736-6615 because of an "important consumer matter"This is about the 5th time they've called but the first time anyone has answered when I picked up the phone. No idea how to get them to stop calling for the NOT ME!
