OK- I have been getting the calls for months now. I finally researched then number. The creepy thing is that I did have surgery about 1.5 years ago. I paid the hospital bill directly and they are still calling saying I owe money. Whatever, if it was a legitamate bill- send me something via mail telling me who you are!!! Not a first name and no account information!

Called asking for a name that sounded like a hashed up version of mine.Eventually admitted to being some sort of collection outfit.Since I have no debts they either have the wrong person or they are a scam.

Other than paying your bills the easiest way is to pickup the phone and say that you own a small business and this is the phone number to that business. I do not want you calling me at my place of employment. Under FDCPA they have to stop calling you at that number. Do it for any number they reach you at. If they keep calling you AFTER you inform them that it is your POE, it is a $10,000 violation for every call. Should take care of any debt you have.

We don't owe any outstanding bills. We have gotten repeated calls from this number, leaving a voice mail asking us to call an 800 number about an important matter. Have not returned the messages. I just got a screeching hellion on the phone, Susan, who called my home and howled something on the phone when I tried to make some sense out of what she wanted. Not a great way to get business done, Suze, as I can't help you if you won't tell me what you want. I called back to see if I could talk with someone different who could perhaps make sense - straighten out whatever it was that they wanted - got routed back AGAIN to Susie (is this your home number?) so I requested to be removed permanently from her caller base, squeezed my POE number out between her sputterings (she said she will call me back tomorrow). Hope you do, Suze, and perhaps let me know what you want (oops!! forgot I requested no call backs!!). Oh well. You, too, have a nice day.

She was very ugly, however I called back. I spoke with another young lady and told her that she first of all was calling my work place and pratically hung up in face saying that I was waisting her time. I just told the company to make sure that she does not call me again. They are a legitimate collection agency, but as many people as I have talked to, I have gotten different amounts that must be paid. I have fallen on tough times, but Ms. Susan better know that they will get fined all I need is for her to call by mistake. But yes the rules to collection are no calls before 9:00 a.m. nor weekends. No calls to you place of business. If someone calls and says that they called by accident the chart was not noted, report it to the local SCC any how.

Called at 5:15 PM, did not leave voice mail. I did not answer as I do not know the number, found it here afterwards.

FDCPA states no calls before 8:00am and no calls after 9:00 pm. The FDCPA does not have any law prohibiting calls on the weekends. If you do infact tell them you are not permitted to accept calls at your place of employment, they may not call your work. However, why not just pay your bills and not get calls at all?

I keep getting a recorded message asking for me by my name and wrong middle initial. (I changed my middle name after marriage and haven't used that initial since I've had my new last name.) So, I don't return the call. I'm not about to return a phone call from a dubious recorded voice. If someone wants to reach me, they need to call in person. Plus, I think it's a scam. They say it's regarding a "business matter." Who the heck knows what that means. I've gotten this call a couple times a week for over a month now.
