The women asks for the owner of the company. I am the Office Manager and the only one who answers the phone. I explain this to her and she says "Mam there is no message to leave you this is important information only for *****" They have called many times and I told her we are on the do not call registry and don't call back! They always do!

Called this number back and left a message to take my number off their list. They called again, so much for that. Also reported number to the National Do Not Call List

I have been receiving numerous phone calls every week. Would like to have my number taken off the list. They are wasting their time calling this number. We are not interested.

Wow, what to say. There was a time I would agree, that Unions were a necessity. I am not so sure that is still the case. I'm not saying in "all" cases the union is to blame, but they certainly do merit some of the blame. Take a look at Beth Steel. The Union in MD was doing great working there. They had as many days off as the kids in school. Competing with China and other low wage countries, Beth could not compete. Union went on strike, Beth Steel closed down. Who is at fault, the Union? the gov't for not making the marketplace fair (How can detroit compete with Mexican auto workers). Like I said, no simple answer.Also as a past SF who went through three contract negotiations for my plant, the Union, let me change that to "our specific union" did not always act in the workers best interest. Health benefits, the union offered one, but not to our plant employees because. One time we negotuated for insurance and the union allowed the employees to take a $30.00 a week (Gross) raise instead of health. I'm at the point now where I really do not feel it matters anymore. The big guys (union and corporations and gov't ) tell us what to do, and we do it. No choice.
