I had and old ex-friend to call em and it said from CA. he knew I would not take a call from his number. If this is through Google. Then why do they not provide the ones that do not want this happining a way to block calls through them. HAY GOOGLE, ARE YOU READINF THIS? You should do something to protect people form this kind of hasserment.

I'm only 15 and my phone is for emergencies only so I get this call at 11:00 at night and I assume it's something important so I answer and this man with a really odd accent said "I got your number from your friend and they said I should call you" and I was scared so I said the only thing I could think of "um no I'm like 5" and he said okay and I hung up and blocked the number. I'm actually terrified. How's d this man get my phone number and how can I stop this from happening again?

This person should be reported to the police and be put in jail

A couple weeks ago, my elderly parents received a call from someone posing as one of their grandchildren and tried to scam them out of some money (google "grandparent phone scam"). They called 4 times, each time trying to convince them that they were their grandchildren and needed some money due to a little misadventure in Canada. They called me and I was able to tell them that it wasn't their grandchildren because they were all safely with me and informed them of the scam. A week later they called my parents again and when my father told them he knew what they were doing, they got nasty.....really foul nasty with vulgar language. Then later they called them again (my parents were not at home) and left a death threat on the answering machine.....quoting the exact address that my folks live at, etc. and told them, "You better sleep with one eye open because we're coming for you!" (This call was also laced with vulgar language, but I cleaned it up for posting here). My parents called the police, but they had no clue as to what to do. Not only are they harassing my poor elderly parents, but now a death threat? The phone number is of course a Google voice number: 760-705-8888. Any help?

They called me and said that they were one of my friends... i hung up and they called once more but when i returned the call and it wouldnt go through..

I don't know who just call me they need to stop.

Got a call from this number on a daily basis ... say they are from an air duct cleaning place .... I told them to take my number off the list .... it sounds like a foreigner when I asked him the first time to take it off he said ok second time I made him repeat what I said ... which was ... Take .. my ... number... off.... your... list... this was lesson 101 of english ... and if he bothered me again I would report him for harassment where as he replied ... give me two hundre dallar (his words not mine!! ) told him to kiss my lily white [***] and not to call again .... they called again last night and would not answer when hello was said !!! they are starting to piss me off I am going to be reporting this number to the RCMP and have them traced and charged for harassment !!!!

This is a number that makes fraud. They speak of posing as someone else to activate accounts
