I got a call from an SEO marketer who claimed to be from "Google" calling about our placement. He repeatedly asked for the "owner", misrepresenting himself as someone from Google. I repeatedly asked the caller to identify themselves and he refused, becoming agitated telling me I needed to listen to him. The caller sounded like a man with Philippino accent with feminine intonation, "like" a valley girl, He was very "bitchy" and threatened to "remove" our Google listings if I did not pay him. As an entrepreneur myself, I recognize and respect the efforts of anyone who is able to identify a niche and seeks to serve it in an effort to earn a living, but this is fraud, and threatening people you do not know is not only foolish, but gravely dangerous! Something should be done to prohibit individuals like this from hiding behind GOOGLE by using their "G-Mail" phone service. Too many of these "companies" hide under the umbrella of larger more reputable companies, that offer no recourse, and accept no responsibility for their fraudulent actions and claims. Another example of this is a company out of Las Vegas called " LIVEDEAL " they scam companies offering SEO marketing and first page Google placement but give nothing, They make all kinds of claims about being publicly traded and boast of their affiliation with Yellow Pages, ( ***Yellow Pages does actually own them!!! ) but the Yellow Pages accepts no liability or responsibility for their business practices or frauds against busness owners all over North America.

The (705-) is a California number and idk where it comes from!

The number appeared on my missed call list. What a surprise!! I just switched to Tracfone pay-as-you-go and have not told anyone my number. Also, I have not and will not set-up my voice mail! What a surprise for the spamming caller.

My dad got a call with the scam saying "this is your oldest grandson" deal...wanting money.

Got a call from this number wanting me to use them for a loan to pay off unsecure debt.. They new my name home address and had pulled my credit report Scarry [***]. I told him I was to busy and asked for a call back number he hung up.

got a call from this number 1-706-705-8888. Person with a heavy east indian accent named "Jake" ( obviously not real name ), stating that he was National Home Security Systems. Just told him that him and his dumb [***] kept calling after they've been to to stop, then when he tried to apologize, hung up on the little [***].

Can some one help me this Person first called me 5-6 times and I didn't answer. Then juzt this saterday the person called and I stupidly answered and they knew my full name and two of my friends names aswell as some eleses I know. The person called as "Sally the spy" and I could tell they had an app that changes your voice cuz wen the person was talking it sudden it broke down In a mans voice and the person sounded pissed and they called 2 when I answered so I'm scared because the person said u can run but u can't hide. Aswell as I tried calling it back but it was a uncommpleted call

Called my work. Claimed to be from Health Department. Didn't believe them because the HD doesn't call to warn you of an inspection. Kept trying to get rid of him and when I finally told him off he became very angry and threatening, well to put it SUPER lightly, he said for not helping him he was going to come and "sexually assault" me. The words he used were much more vulgar and descriptive. Its scary and unnerving.
