I sell Avon in Ohio and received the same email and request from Deborah Drake at Mitchell Models International today. As soon as I read it, I new something wasn't legit. Always be cautious when a stranger reqests your home address and phone!! I suggested she order directly through the Avon website, also.

Wow, just got the same email, with the same dialogue. Seemed suspicious to me that someone who owns a modeling company would order their products from someplace else. They should have their own suppliers! So I looked it up and found this. Thank you!The person who contacted me called herself "Deborah Drake".

I got the email the other day from customer connect, I replied by email and I got the order yesterday . It sounded hinky to me, so I googled the agency and came to this site. Thank you for alerting me!

I too am a rep in Ohio who gets requests like these all the time. The idiots don't even read the response I send them when I get the "I want to order avon" email from Avon. I say in the email that it may take me a few days to answer emails because I work full time at the MERCER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. The last lady I "played" with wanted my address to send the check to. I gave her my work address & I was sent a poorly photo shopped Chase Bank check for $1,950.00 for a $195.00 order. It was sent Fed Ex which you can't trace because it can be dropped in a box anywhere. The person knew the check had been delivered & gave me instructions on what to do next but never pushed the issue when I didn't follow through on my end. All they do is change their name, email address & reason for needing the products. I just tell them that if they aren't local, they must buy from my website.
