OH NO! I fell for it and placed the order! What do I do now? I guess return the whole order...so not cool. I have received another order similar and I think it is a scam too....I am new to Avon so this really sucks

I got the same email except the name is Brenda Jarvis from Brenda Sister Modeling Agency, 848 Brickell Key Dr, Miami, FL 305-327-2455. Even the company name sounds fishy... I also just started selling Avon in Ohio.

I go the same email from Deborah with the same message today. Last month I got a request from a Kierra Allen wanting a large order in CA. Both requested my home address and phone number and offered to send a payment to my house. This is very disturbing. I'm not sure what can be done to prevent this - but am very wary of doing any Avon business with anyone I don't know.

I didn't get a call but an e-mail as well. person cuz I got a email regarding new contact request. the person named Brenda emailed me this morning with the item that she wanted and the quantity. I recommended she go to my website and order online and inform her that orders of $30 or more ave free shipping. I also told her that I would figure out the order and get back to her. but after seeing this I don't think I will waste my time.

I sell Avon in Ohio. Received the same e-mail Stacey has copied in her post. I wish Avon had better safety measures for this. I get suspicious when I receive e-mails from people out-of-state. There are Avon reps everywhere.

I live in Utah, i received a email. From a women by the name of Sharon. At Jan jon modeling agency in Boise, ID. I have kept up corresponding with this women. And tracking everything. I told her that once i received her check it. Must clear my bank before ordering anything for her. She refuses to give me a phone number. I checked out the address I was give and no such address is there. After this I will contact the better business office in utah and contact my local fraud division at my local police station. I'm also planning on contacted my local tv station to see if they will run a story.I highly suggest people contact the better business buero in your state.and keep all documents so you have evidence.

I received the same email. I thought it looked suspicious. I suggested ordering directly from email site. Glad to hear we are keeping each other informed. I think our district manager should be aware. I am forwarding this to her. Thank you ladies.

I never recieved a phone call, just an email. Same thing as everyone else. They don't read our emails because they are trying to scam us. I got ahold of the rep who helped me get started in Avon and all I got was that Avon had informed them of these types of scams and not to worry about to just be careful who I sold to. Yet when I started she never brought up that this could happen. I started selling avon in Bad Axe, Mi between July and September of 2011. Since then these are the scammers that have contacted me since then:Benita Joshua (Terry Bauer is used in email address) sent check for over $2,000 for a $260 ordersRosie Minton another check for over $2,000 for a $170 orderMary TonySheila White Deborah DrakeI found that if that can not spell simple words, there email makes no sense at all and they keep asking for your name, they are trying to pull a scam.

I received the exact same order..
