3 phone calls in 1 wk......no one ever talks...........creepy.......

who are these cons.

Told me I won a $1000 shopping spree gift card with the catch of paying for S+H, and asked for age of birth and work information. Don't know where they got my number, but I value my privacy and would like them to stop calling random people.

I just received a call from this number. Second time today a strange number from another state has called me. This time I didn't answer - I let it go to voice mail. I then googled the number and it brought me here. I called the number back. It's a cell phone - a man is on the other end stating the company is "Internet Marketing Partners"...added to my blocked list.

They called me too but it was a guy ( or it least it sounded like one) and said that i won a 1000 dollar shopping spree. They said all i had to do was pay the shipping cost and that i would get 60 month magazine subscription and i had to pay 3 something a month. I told them i never signed up for anything online and they said " Oh, everybody forgets they signed up" . I told them i was not accepting anything and started to get mad and then they hung up.

I received a phone call from this number yesterday at about 6:45 PM PST. These guys are a scam.... although the lady on the other end said that I didn't have to do anything.... I'll be the judge of that.. My gift certificate is suppose to come in the mail soon.

I just got a call from this number and got a rude woman, who smart mouthed me. She told me I had registered for something and I didn't even know what I was talking about. I told her I wasn't interested and she had the gall to say, "Then don't go online." Excuse me? So i just proceeded to call the number from every phone I could get my hands on to turn the tables and call her non stop. It was a cell phone and the voice mail message said Internet Marketing Partners, but shocker the mailbox was full. Now I call and it goes into the voice mail system. Hmmmm, I wonder if I annoyed her? Gosh, I feel so bad. (That would be sarcasm, my friends)

i received the exact same call. They said i wont $500.00 and asked for my year of birth, job and they said to wait for something in the mail from 3-5 days. They didnt asked for money or any personal info not even my name.

Got this call once after 10pm at night (which is illegal if it's anyone except someone I know), and then again the next day at 7am. I didn't answer the phone either time (I was asleep at 10pm, I don't wake up easily, and I was at work at 7am), but I'm glad I found this web site. I was curious as to who could be calling, all of my friends and family know my schedule, so I'll keep an ear out for when they try to scam me.I tried calling back a few times, but the line is always busy.
