recieved call but no one there when i answered

Lady has called before. I told her I was very busy and she can call next week. Received another call right now and gave only three pieces of info: my age, which was true, my job, which was absolutely vague, and my favorite credit card company. At that point she said I will receive stuff in the mail and hung up.

The name of the company when I called it back was internet marketing partners. They called me 2x so far the first time they said I was a preferred customer of visa master card. and had won 1,000.00 shopping spree. I told the they were full of it I don't have a visa master card. they tried to call me again tonight.

YES, OMG. I got a call from these basterds too and everything that people have said in the above comments they said to me. I too did NOT give them my CC and thank god. They did however give me the website that the shopping would be done. It is selectyourgifts.com I wanted them to bill me and they wouldn't for teh 60 months of magazines. That in addition to them not awnsering any of my questions legitimatly, made me think something was not right. When I asked a question they would awnser back to me "congratulations on winning $1000.00 and all you have to do is pay 3.83 wk for 5 magazines of your choice." At the end of the call, I asked if I could talk things over with my husband and get back to them with my awnser, they said Have a nice day and hung the phone up on me. What didn't feel right were the kinds of questions they asked...like What does your husband do for a living and where does he work, and they wanted a friends name and number. They did not need that info. What I regret is that even though in my gut I should not tell them, I gave them my husbands employer. YUCK!!! I hope this is the last I hear from them. Calls like this leave such a bad taste in my mouth.

Same deal as everyone here. I won $1000 in merchandise from "The Publisher"! Sweet! They didn't ask any information from me. Just age and what my job is. I can't wait for the gift card to get here! .... Anyone get anything from them .... no? .... shoot.

I didn't answer, just looked up the number from my caller ID on here. After reading these post I'm glad I didn't answer.

Yea, you are full of crap. I gave a ligit name and phone number and guess what? No shopping spree or anything else! Just harassing phone calls hanging up on me. You are truly retarded to believe saying positive things on this site is going to make people want to cash in on your shady deal. Go screw yourself.
