Just got a call from 716-875-9100 with Local edge on the ID. Did not answer and no message left. The area code comes back to the Buffallo are of NY state.

I got a call from this number this morning at 8:28. The caller ID gives the number and says Buffalo NY. The man asked if we had recieved a Local Edge phone book. I said no. He said he would look into it and hung up.

These people call constantly and get angry when you don't want their "services"

I got a call from them at 9 am and they said they were from the local phone book distributor and wanted to know if I got my phone book last week, I said no and they promised to make sure I got one. We'll see, but I wonder if it is someone trying to see if anyone is home. We have had a rash of daytime burglaries locally since summer. Will let you know if I get the phone book...

recieved a call @ roughly around 9.30 am, my father answered the phone, the only conversation was to inquire about our correct address, she read off the address, my father said yes , she hung up !!!! this situation is yet another growing cancer that keeps eating its way right through the normal citizens tolerance...in most cases, we, the recieving end, have no recourse even though we have all tried the " no call list"..now companies are trending to use " unknown caller" & "incoming call" to mask their true idenity...i, as most of you, probably "DO NOT" purchase merchandise, insurance,advertisement,,over the telephone..nor do we want to even "consider" it @ 8.00 am or 9.00 pm period ! we are probably lucky that finding the actual addresses of these call centers is rather difficult, if not for any other reason than keeping most of out of jail @#&*$%@=fudge rockets

Received a phone call asking if I was the talking phone book. Then asked to verify my address. Very strange. I hung up and called the company back to see if they were a legitimate business.
