i also received an email requesting mary kay products totaling over $200 and "durell" wanted to make payment by cashiers check or money order.i knew this email was sketchy from the beginning. i responded back advising what items i have in stock, and googled his givin info. and found all these blogs,this is definatley a scam!

This person has made contact with several Mary Kay Consultants through email in the UK now requesting products. Fortunately, they are sensible enough to recognise a scam and reported it to head office as soon as they saw it.....DO NOT SERVICE THIS PERSON

Received an email requesting to purchase equipment we offer for the water treatment industry. This type of equipment is typically sold to city municipalities for disinfection monitoring and dosage control for their local water treatment facility. I always try and do a little research based off of the contact information provided. Fortunately, I was able to find this site and confirm my suspecions about the email I received below (I changed the actual name of the instrument & model # to read PRODUCT NAME & PRODUCT #). All Mary Kay consultants please be very careful and use your best judgement with your emails and calls from clients you do not know. With the economy down people are trying to scam you anyway they can at your cost. Ask questions before mailing products and use the internet to google addresses and numbers it really helpful thats how I confirmed this scam.
