Hi there. I am selling my horse on equine.com and I got a message from a "potential buyer" She claims she wants to buy my horse with a cashiers check. She wants all of my home information and banking information. I told her I would like to speak with her over the phone twice and she has yet to call me all she is doing is e-mailing. She also claims she is on a business trip in New Orleans but is presently out of state. When I asked her where she would be going she could not show me pictures of her destination. But sent me this address :32, CarringtonAve.,Los Angeles, CA 90001.Phone numer is 718-234-8097Also when I googled the number all kinds of fragulent claims showed up. Since I told her I will not be shipping my horse to California without pictures of her shelter she has not responded back. Be aware of this number

I receive emails from these people fairly often. I'm an Audiologist and have a website that sells hearing test equipment and other hearing related products. The emails are fairly easy to spot fortunately. Below is one I received today. This one is fairly typical of past emails from these people although the names they use, email addresses and other contact info they send in the emails varies.
