This person called because I supposedly took a phone survey on November 7 about

ID says "Solar Ways." We're particularly vulnerable because Austin has rebates on solar installations. Same story: marketing survey but specifically asked whether we had a new vaccuum cleaner, then what brand. Called back 10 days or so later that we won a $300. on-line shopping credit for one year.

What happened next? They called me w/same story.

Have read posts on other sites about the same company. Total scam. Call you with a great offer of a gift card (anywhere from $300-$500), then "ALL" you have to do is have them come out and give our opinion about a product. The "survey" company lady was not exactly sure what the product was, but just that it was an "all-in-one" vacuuming-type product. I agreed to have them come out, but then did some more checking. I decided to cancel the appointment and called them back. The first few times I got a busy signal, then when I got through, the girl didn't even answer with the company name, she just said "hello?" Hmm. Then, called multiple times (well into the teens) and kept getting the busy signal. No luck getting through at all. Guy came to the door, I wouldn't even answer it. We called the police just to make the report and they gave us an event number. no criminal activity happened, but at least they are on file.

This piece of crap keeps calling my phone and not leaving messages. I never get to answer it, and when I call, it goes straight to a busy tone for a few seconds before hanging up.

They keep calling every few days blocked them now do not want theses calls selling spam!

I have been receiving calls from this number (719)258-1704. Usually I ignore the call but they don't leave voicemails. Finally I answered it today and it was relating to a grocery giveaway. A girl came to my door weeks ago and entered me into a drawing. I gave her minimal information and forgot about her. The lady that called today referenced the date, the store I shop at, and the type of card I use. Now I'm pretty sure I'm going to be scammed and I barely said anything. Watch out for these people.
