Hey...I've tried all the above to include answering the phone and politely asking if they would please take me off their list, and DO NOT call again... they hang up. So, if they are going to be that rude...the only answer is 'don't get mad, get even'.THIS IS WHAT I INTEND TO DO THE NEXT TIME THEY CALL...AND I RECOMMEND EVERYONE OUT THERE TRY IT TOO! ANSWER THE CALL, DO NOT SPEAK, PUT THE PHONE DIRECTLY BY THE RADIO WITH FULL VOLUME...Let's see how many calls I get after that! ;-) Good luck everyone
This is a mortgage lending company who wants you to refinance with them. They claim they can give 3.5%. If you bought your house with interest rate of anything over 3.5, they tell you have too high an interest rate. They don't leave messages, they call repeatedly and they are aggressively persistent if you tell them you aren't interested. Took three calls for them to take me off their call list. Very annoying. Oh yea, aren't these the types of calls I want to end by signing up for the "do not call list"?
This number 727-346-0230 calls many times, caller ID is Mortgage Inv, I never but I answered and this guy says may I speak to James and I just hung up, because they just ask for anybody's name and immediately after that they call again with a different number 800-999-8501 Lipton loans. They do this many times and it don't matter what you tell them. They're problably selling loans.
I don't know how I got on their list. After 7 years in debt over my head I have worked hard to fix it and after I did I am receiving calls on my cell phone from this company.
The first time they called and I asked to speak to a supervisor they hung up. I did this two other times and asked them to put me on the No call list. They have since changed their number at least four different times and it's starting to get irritating as hell. I want it to stop before I have to take DRASTIC steps.
They get your number by having a computer dial the numbers. Starting with 555-555-0001 then 555-555-0002, and so on. You can get the complaint papers from the FCC and file them. It takes a while but you can get money from them if the continue to call. If you ever answer then the computer knows that it is a live number and then it calls you at different time hoping you will bite to their scam. Hope this helps some of you to understand how you get all of these useless calls. They also get them from internet companies that you might sign on to also...
